2024-25 Project
OUTCOME:
- More than 200 sports equipment (roller skates, helmets, equipment for biking, tennis, soccer, swimming, volleyball, basketball, golf, and everyday sports clothes) were donated to children in need in Italy.
- More than 4 000 dollars raised
Our journey
During 2024 and 2025, Play it Forward grew from a simple idea into a movement powered by community, generosity, and the belief that even small actions can create meaningful change.
We began by walking through our neighborhoods and reaching out to friends and families, asking them to donate clothes and sportswear they no longer used. What started as a few bags of clothing quickly became something much bigger.
Soon after, we were given the opportunity to collaborate during a local party organized by friends. We created a dedicated donation space, shared our mission with everyone attending, and encouraged people to bring used clothes that could be given a second life in the hands of children and families in need.
The journey reached a new milestone when we organized our first major fundraiser. Thanks to the incredible support of our community, we raised over $4,000, which was donated to children in Italy facing difficult circumstances.
